I am absolutely loving both of these songs for today’s “Sunday Songbird”.

They’ve been popping up fairly often on Captain America’s and my Spotify playlists, and because I am an obsessive repeater of all things, I can’t get enough of either…though I’m sure he can!

Check them out this evening, and let me know what you think in the comments!

Sunday Songbird Places I Will Always Go The HWL

“I know there’s California, Oklahoma,
And all of the places I ain’t ever been to but,
Down in the valley with,
Whiskey rivers,
These are the places you will find me hidin’,
These are the places I will always go,
These are the places I will always go,

I am on my way,
I am on my way,
I am on my way back to where I started…”

“Ah Brooklyn Brooklyn take me in,
Are you aware the shape I’m in?
My hands they shake my head it spins,
Ah Brooklyn Brooklyn take me in,

When at first I learned to speak,
I used all my words to fight,
With him and her and you and me,
Oh but it’s just a waste of time,
Yeah it’s such a waste of time…”
I And Love And You – The Avett Brothers*
